birthday fun

so i always said i would never be one of those people that had a huge birthday extravaganza for my kids past their first birthday.  i have been wrong about so many things now it's hard to keep track.  

earth hour

so we just finished an hour with the lights out...in an effort to reduce energy consumption.  we had a great time.  actually, kent and i are going to implement an earth hour of our own on a more regular basis.  mira was asleep but p was up with us for part of the hour and he was just as talkative and sweet without the lights on.

i will probably add a pic or two each post.  we're big fans of pictures.
